紐約大學(xué)文書要求更新，鋼琴家朗朗貢獻(xiàn)了一個(gè)文書題目！

全美受關(guān)注度最高的私立大學(xué)紐約大學(xué)(New York University，NYU)在上個(gè)申請(qǐng)季一改過(guò)去沿用了多年的文書題目“Why NYU”(400字上限)，采用了全新的文書題目(Diversity Essay)。要知道“Why NYU”可是大學(xué)使用了將近10年的本科申請(qǐng)文書題目。
沒(méi)想到NYU去年新?lián)Q的文書題目?jī)H用了一個(gè)申請(qǐng)季就被淘汰了。經(jīng)查詢，今年NYU采用了6選1的文書題目模式，其中第6個(gè)為自擬題目，給了學(xué)生更多的選擇，但是字?jǐn)?shù)上限僅為250字。值得一提的是，如果學(xué)生不想寫這篇文書，則可以直接選擇第7個(gè)選項(xiàng)，跳過(guò)這個(gè)任務(wù)。當(dāng)然了，張老師是強(qiáng)烈建議準(zhǔn)備申請(qǐng)NYU的學(xué)生認(rèn)真對(duì)待這篇文書的。

今年的NYU本科文書題目，可能一定程度上效仿了芝加哥大學(xué)，用了校友或Commencement Speaker的講話中的內(nèi)容來(lái)做文書的引子。特別值得一提的是，此次文書的第三個(gè)選題是著名鋼琴演奏家朗朗的講話“If you know how to fly but you never knew how to walk, wouldn't that be sad？” 準(zhǔn)備申請(qǐng)NYU的同學(xué)們是不是有聽一聽朗朗演奏的沖動(dòng)了?
